Altis is seeking a Senior Data Consultant to help design and deliver modern data and analytics solutions in Adelaide, SA. You will work directly with client stakeholders, building scalable data platforms and pipelines with strong governance, while expanding our South Australian practice.

We value practical data engineering, SQL proficiency, and hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and Fabric. Collaboration and knowledge sharing are core to our hybrid-working environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Snowflake capability.
• Data engineering and data modelling experience.
• SQL and contemporary data transformation/integration experience.
• Experience with Databricks and/or Fabric is highly regarded.
• Understanding of data governance and scalable solution design.
• Experience working directly with clients or business stakeholders.
• Exposure to enterprise AI solutions or AI-assisted engineering tools is a bonus.
• Curious about where the data profession is heading and discerning true value.

Build modern data solutions and help shape a growing Adelaide team.

We're growing our South Australian practice and looking for a Senior Data Consultant who enjoys solving real business problems with modern data technology.

You'll work directly with clients across the design and delivery of modern data platforms, bringing strong engineering foundations together with consulting and advisory skills.

Snowflake capability is particularly important for this role, while experience with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric and emerging AI-enabled delivery approaches will give you plenty of opportunity to expand your toolkit.

What you'll bring

We're looking for strong foundations rather than an impossible technology checklist.

Ideally you'll have:

• Strong Snowflake capability
• Data engineering and data modelling experience
• SQL and contemporary data transformation/integration experience
• Experience with Databricks and/or Fabric is highly regarded
• Understanding of data governance and scalable solution design
• Experience working directly with clients or business stakeholders

Exposure to enterprise AI solutions or AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor or Snowflake Cortex is a bonus.

Most importantly, you should be curious about where the data profession is heading and capable of judging when new technology genuinely improves an outcome rather than adopting it simply because it's new.
