Job summary

Atlas NextWave is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for Data Centre projects across Australia and New Zealand. You will lead technical reviews, ensure cooling solutions meet performance and compliance, and collaborate with sales, procurement and project teams through design, installation and handover.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering degree and 10+ years in HVAC or critical infrastructure, strong knowledge of thermal management, experience with drawings and specs, and

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years in engineering, HVAC or data centres.
• Knowledge of standards and ability to read technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and engineering expertise across cooling projects.
• Review mechanical designs, specifications and submissions.
• Assess proposed cooling solutions for feasibility, cost and compliance.
• Review drawings and as-built records with revision control.
• Identify scope changes and manage technical risks with project teams.
• Develop technical scopes of supply and support procurement with external vendors.
