Job summary

Whizdom in Canberra is seeking a technically strong data engineering lead to drive delivery teams from analysis to delivery. You will shape data delivery frameworks, lead design reviews, and establish release standards while mentoring teams in best practices.

The role requires expertise in SQL, Python or R, and experience in data modelling within an Agile environment. This will be a 12-month contract with potential extensions, based in Canberra.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in mathematics, statistics, computer sciences or related field.
• Strong expertise in SQL and experience with Python or R.
• Experience in data modelling and end-to-end data delivery.

Responsibilities

• Review and refine the data delivery framework to enhance integration of new sources and performance of existing data delivery.
• Set peer review and data modelling release standards.
• Provide knowledge transfer sessions on development practices, data modelling, release processes.
