Job summary

Compas is seeking a Lead Data Architect to drive the design of secure, scalable enterprise data and integration architectures within a complex Australian Government ICT environment. This senior contract role involves executive stakeholder engagement and leadership across enterprise-scale initiatives.

You will operate in a Hybrid arrangement with initial on-site attendance, and a 12-month contract with possible extensions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading data, solution, integration and enterprise architectures at scale.
• Strong understanding of architecture frameworks, governance, and secure end-to-end design.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate technical recommendations.
• tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience; TOGAF, Azure, AWS, CISSP or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of data, integration and ICT architectures aligned with enterprise standards.
• Analyse requirements, identify gaps, and develop strategic architecture options.
• Oversee architecture design, integration and migration activities with risk management.
• Provide authoritative architecture guidance to executives and governance forums.
