Job summary

Stryker in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Lead Data Analyst to act as a strategic analytics partner for our Medical business. You will identify opportunities, solve complex problems with data, and drive commercial value across the division.

You will lead end-to-end analytics projects, translate insights into dashboards, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with senior leaders to improve decision making and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Science, or Technology related areas.
• 5+ years' experience in data analytics or related field.
• Experience leading analytics initiatives delivering measurable value.
• Advanced SQL and at least one analytics language (Python or R).
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience promoting analytics platforms and best practices.
• Experience supporting commercial, sales, marketing, or operations.
• Exposure to modern analytics platforms (Databricks, Fabric).

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and act as strategic advisor on data-driven opportunities.
• Identify and shape strategic analytics initiatives delivering measurable value.
• Lead end-to-end analytics projects from opportunity to delivery and value realization.
• Translate complex data into clear business insights, dashboards, and recommendations.
