Job summary

ALH Hotels is seeking a Senior Data Analyst - Workforce Planning to drive predictive, demand-based staffing across our 350+ venues. You will own data analytics for advanced workforce planning and build models that align demand with optimal schedules.

The role collaborates with the BEX team to deliver actionable insights to Publicans and Area Managers, balancing sales, cost-efficiency, and guest experience, while enabling data-led decisions and value capture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in data analytics or workforce planning.
• Experience with enterprise scheduling software (e.g., UKG) is preferred.
• Proficiency with Cloud platforms (GCP, DBT), SQL and Tableau.
• Experience building predictive forecasting models and applying advanced analytics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate insights into actions.
• Willingness to travel to venues to understand floor realities.
• Hospitality industry experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Develop demand-based workforce planning models linking demand to staffing hours.
• Create venue segmentation frameworks and productivity benchmarks.
• Support discovery of advanced workforce planning tooling with SMEs.
• Provide data access and analysis for future-state rostering solutions.
• Translate analytics into actionable insights for managers.
• Support tracking of benefits and value post-implementation.
