Job summary

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is seeking an EL1 Data Analyst to independently tackle complex data challenges and provide high-level policy and operational support. You will manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders and represent the NDIA in diverse forums.

Key duties include day-to-day analytics, reporting governance, and cross-branch collaboration to ensure consistent data use.

Qualifications

• High level data analytics skills and experience.
• Ability to identify problems and provide data-driven insights.
• Strong interpretation of trends and KPIs to inform decisions.
• Clear communication of complex data insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across agencies.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking day-to-day analytical work and project management on a range of tasks.
• Maintaining knowledge of business areas, goals and KPIs.
• Contributing to reporting development and quality governance of branch reporting.
• Analysing data, interpreting trends and connecting insights to questions.
• Collaborating with staff within the branch and across the Agency to ensure consistent data use and messaging.
• Presenting outcomes and tailoring content for different forums.
• Mentoring and developing a small group of less experienced team members.
