MECCA Brands is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for a 12 months fixed-term contract in Melbourne. You will bridge business needs with analytics and data engineering, delivering robust analyses, scalable dashboards, and well-structured data models.

You will work with Snowflake, DBT, and Tableau, driving data quality and governance across analytics initiatives. You will mentor analysts, uplift analytics standards, and collaborate with engineers to ensure data assets are fit for purpose, enabling

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Advanced SQL and data manipulation skills.
• Experience with Snowflake or similar data platforms.
• Experience building dashboards in Tableau.
• Familiarity with DBT and modern ELT practices.
• Solid data modelling and semantic layer understanding.
• Ability to translate business needs to technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced data analysis to deliver actionable insights.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable Tableau dashboards.
• Develop and maintain data models with DBT; optimise Snowflake structures.
• Translate business requirements into robust analytical solutions.
• Ensure data quality through testing and validation.
• Drive analytics and reporting process improvements, incl. AI opportunities.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices.
