Mecca Brands Senior Data Analyst role seeks to bridge business stakeholders, analytics, and data engineering to deliver high-quality analyses and scalable reporting. You will develop Tableau dashboards and contribute to DBT-based data modelling while collaborating with engineers to ensure fit-for-purpose data assets.

The role also focuses on uplifting analytics standards, tooling, and ways of working across the team, with mentorship for junior analysts and a proactive, outcome-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced data analysis to deliver actionable insights.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions aligned to business metrics and standards.
• Develop and maintain data models using DBT and collaborate with Data Engineering teams to optimise Snowflake data structures and pipelines.
• Translate business requirements into clear analytical and technical solutions while managing stakeholder expectations and priorities.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy through testing, validation, and best practice data modelling approaches.
• Drive continuous improvement across analytics, reporting, and data processes, including exploration of advanced analytics and AI opportunities.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in analysis, visualisation, collaboration, and delivery standards.
