Job summary

FIS Australasia Pty Ltd is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst Senior to support governance, risk and assurance for a major banking client. The role blends business analysis, project delivery and cybersecurity oversight across stakeholders.

You will work with product teams, technology groups and security SMEs to translate requirements into actionable, trackable outcomes and contribute to governance reporting and remediation tracking.

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis, project coordination or PMO in tech or cybersecurity governance.
• Exposure to cybersecurity, technology risk, governance and operational reporting.
• Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders, clients and cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to produce concise governance updates and client-ready docs.
• Knowledge of risk, vulnerability, incident, control gap or remediation processes.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into business actions, milestones and ownership.
• Tertiary qualification in CS/Cybersecurity/IS/BA/PM or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering for cybersecurity across applications, infrastructure and networks.
• Analyze client needs and identify solutions for control gaps and risk-based queries.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to shape secure business architecture and outcomes.
• Review designs to identify cybersecurity risks and implementation dependencies.
• Track security requirements, risks, vulnerabilities and remediation actions to closure.
• Prepare governance reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support assurance activities with clear responses and evidence gathering.
• Improve documentation, issue tracking and reporting cadence for consistent cyber risk management.
