NCC Group is seeking a Security Consultant to lead cybersecurity engagements, assess risks, and advise on regulatory controls for diverse clients in Sydney. You will balance hands-on work with strategic advisory across complex environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or related field.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with consulting or advisory work.
• Strong knowledge of frameworks, risk management, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver cybersecurity consulting engagements for multiple clients.
• Perform enterprise risk and maturity assessments and gap analyses.
• Design security architectures, operating models and control frameworks.
• Advise on regulatory/compliance requirements (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, GDPR).
• Develop strategies, roadmaps, policies and governance documents.
• Prepare executive reports and risk dashboards for clients.
• Manage client relationships as a trusted security advisor.
• Support proposals, SOWs and business development activities.
• Collaborate with sales and pre‑sales to quantify resources.
