Job summary

Raytheon Australia is seeking a Senior Systems & Cyber Security Specialist in Adelaide to contribute to the delivery of system and cyber security outcomes for nationally significant defence infrastructure.

The role focuses on executing security assessment and authorization activities, including preparation of cybersecurity artefacts (SSP, SSP-A, SRMP, CMP) and reviewing system changes for compliance. Depending on experience, leadership and mentoring responsibilities may be involved.

Qualifications

• Certifications in cyber security or related IT field.
• A university degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• Cyber Security Certifications (ISSP, CISM, CRISC, Sec+, GSEC, CEH)
• Exposure to security tools, vulnerability scanning, or incident response.

Responsibilities

• Execute security assessment and authorization activities for programs.
• Prepare and maintain cybersecurity artefacts (e.g., SSP, SSP-A, SRMP, CMP) as directed.
• Analyse existing systems and systems under development and implement security controls.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentoring where applicable.
