Job summary

TAFE SA, based at Regency campus in Kaurna Country, seeks a Senior Manager – Cyber Security to lead strategic cyber security programs and act as principal authority on risk, compliance and regulatory obligations across the organisation.

Reporting to the CIO, you will direct complex initiatives, build resilient security architectures, and mentor cross‑functional teams while guiding governance, regulatory alignment, and culture of security throughout South Australia’s leading VET provider.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading enterprise cyber security programs with regulatory alignment.
• Expertise managing dynamic threat environments, risk identification and mitigation.
• Proven ability to lead dispersed teams and embed security policies and practices.
• Knowledge of SACSF, SAPSF, Essential Eight, ISO/IEC 27001 and AS/NZS 31000.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for complex cyber security programs.
• Act as TAFE SA’s principal authority on cyber security, risk, and regulatory obligations.
• Lead and direct operational initiatives with significant financial, operational and reputational impact.
