Job summary

Downer is seeking a Senior Customer Data Analyst in Melbourne to transform operational and financial data into actionable insights for government and integrated facilities management projects.

You will develop dashboards and reports, reconcile data from Lighthouse and Timegate, and support governance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. A strong analytics background and experience with Power BI and Microsoft 365 are essential.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in analytical, KPI reporting, governance, project management or business support roles, ideally within compliance-based service contracts.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Excel and Microsoft 365, with the ability to use AI and modern platforms to automate reporting and streamline analysis.
  • Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving capability, with high attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, sound planning and organisation, and the ability to interpret contracts, KPIs and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly client and operations presentation packs, management reports and data-led insights, responding accurately to stakeholder enquiries.
  • Support project mobilisations, portal and SharePoint administration, process improvement initiatives, team cross-training and ad hoc analytics requests.

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Customer Data Analyst. Join our Government and Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in turning operational, financial and performance data into insights that support effective decisions, stronger compliance and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Contract Managers, you\'ll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

What You’ll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities include:
