Job summary

ECG Secondary College in Warragul is seeking a passionate Lead Teacher to drive senior curriculum excellence across our campuses and support teaching teams to deliver meaningful, applied learning experiences.

This maximum-term leadership role will transition into an ongoing teaching position, with responsibilities in curriculum development, assessment moderation, reporting and school improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of VPC and VCE VM senior secondary pathways and ability to differentiate learning plans.
• Experience leading curriculum design and improvement across multiple campuses.
• Proven ability to mentor teachers and build collaborative school culture.
• Strong communication with students, families and staff to support outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation and review of senior curriculum across ECG campuses.
• Lead cross-campus curriculum moderation, assessment tasks and reporting practices.
• Support teaching staff to deliver differentiated, applied learning programs.
• Provide guidance on curriculum changes and professional learning opportunities.
• Act as Lead Teacher – Campus as required (student management and chain of command).
• Contribute to day-to-day school operations.
• Promote a safe, inclusive learning environment aligned with Child Safe Standards.
