Job summary

Courts Administration Authority in Adelaide seeks a Deputy Registrar – AMC Criminal to support the Adelaide Magistrates Court Registry. You will coordinate and supervise court officer functions and manage the AMC criminal listings, including caseflow and the statewide roster.

This role oversees the disposition of criminal matters, collaborates with the Chief Magistrate and agencies, helps implement digital and online court processes, and supervises around 20 officers.

Qualifications

• Eligibility: Open to Everyone
• Appointment under the Courts Administration Act; governed by the Public Sector Act
• National Police Certificate required
• Flexibility in working hours

Responsibilities

• Oversee AMC Criminal listings, caseflow management, and the statewide roster.
• Direct supervision of approximately 20 Senior Court Officers and Court Officers.
• Coordinate and supervise court officer functions within the registry and support digital/online court processes.
• Ensure timely disposition of criminal matters through liaison with judiciary, SA Police and other agencies.
