Job summary

Qualifications

• LLB or JD with current practising certificate.
• Minimum 15 years post-admission experience.
• Strong corporate, commercial, governance and regulatory expertise.
• Experience managing disputes, litigation or regulatory matters.
• Experience in regulated sectors desirable.
• Company secretarial or governance qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice on corporate and regulatory matters.
• Partner with executives on strategic initiatives and procurement.
• Lead policy reviews and governance document maintenance.
• Manage company secretarial duties and board/committee documentation.
• Oversee disputes, litigation and regulatory matters with external counsel.
• Draft, review and negotiate agreements with risk mitigation.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise on required actions.
• Develop legal risk-management processes and governance frameworks.
• Support internal investigations and enterprise risk matters.
