Job summary

ICON Engineering is seeking a Senior Cost Controller to own cost control across offshore and brownfields projects in Australia and SE Asia. You'll build budgets, perform EVA, and forecast against live scopes, working directly with Project Managers rather than report on the sidelines.

Based in Perth CBD, you'll enjoy a 9-day fortnight and access to on-site gym, pool, and tennis court while delivering critical cost insights across multi-contractor campaigns.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years' cost control experience in oil and gas with offshore exposure.
• Experience in contractor environments, not client-side.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Project Management, or Quantity Surveying.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain control budgets and estimates across full life cycle.
• Lead EVA and cost reporting for subcontractors and clients.
• Drive forecasting and Estimate to Complete analysis for active scopes.
• Present cost performance data to Project Managers during status reviews.
• Mentor junior cost control staff as portfolio size requires.
