Job summary

KBR is seeking a Cost Controller or Senior Cost Controller to support the financial and commercial performance of major infrastructure and defence programs in Australia. You will provide cost analysis, forecasting and reporting to enable informed decision-making and drive strong project outcomes.

Key responsibilities include developing budgets and forecasts, analysing cost performance and variances, supporting EAC processes and monthly reporting, applying contingency and risk management,

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Engineering, Project Management, Commerce, or similar.
• Cost Controller: 3-5+ years' experience; Senior: 8+ years' experience.
• Strong cost forecasting and financial analysis capability.
• Advanced Excel skills (essential).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
• Analyse cost performance, variances, and trends.
• Support EAC processes and monthly reporting.
• Apply contingency and risk management practices.
• Ensure compliance with governance and controls frameworks.
• Provide commercial insight to support delivery decisions.
