Qualifications

• Hold Certificate III in Correctional Practice or relevant custodial experience.
• Driver’s license and ability to drive official vehicles.
• Willingness to undertake rotating shift work.
• Proficiency with authorised instruments of restraint.
• Mandatory medical assessment if required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of Correctional Officers in a designated area.
• Contribute to dynamic and static security in inmate oversight.
• Maintain safety and wellbeing of staff and inmates.
• Apply emergency and riot procedures when needed.
