Job summary

Gilbert + Tobin in Perth seeks a senior corporate lawyer to join the Corporate Advisory Group. You will handle high-profile M&A, capital markets transactions, schemes of arrangement and takeovers, with exposure to ASX listings and equity raisings.

Three years PQE+ in listed takeovers or corporate transactions is expected, with excellent drafting and mentoring abilities. The role offers a dynamic, merit-based culture and top-tier remuneration.

Qualifications

• Three years PQE+ in listed takeovers, schemes of arrangement, or private/public M&A.
• Strong knowledge of the Corporations Act and ASX Listing Rules.
• Exceptional drafting and analytical skills.
• Proven mentoring and matter-management ability.

Responsibilities

• Work on mergers, acquisitions and disposals, due diligence and related matters.
• Involve IPOs, placements, rights issues and capital raisings.
• Assist with corporate governance and continuous disclosure obligations.
