BDO’s Melbourne Tax practice is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Corporate & International Tax team in Melbourne. You will provide advisory and/or compliance services to a diverse client base, mentored by industry leaders, and grow your knowledge in complex tax work.

You will work with cross-border structures and financing arrangements, supporting clients from medium-sized to large international groups, while developing your advisory skillset within a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifikationen

• Hold a university degree in commerce, accounting and/or law (or related disciplines).
• 3+ years’ Corporate Tax experience, ideally working in the tax practice of a Big 4/mid-tier accounting firm.
• Strong client advisory and communication skills.
• Experienced tax compliance background with advisory focus.
• Exposure to cross-border structures, financing arrangements and transactions.
• Collaborative, innovative and inclusive working style.
• Passion for Tax!

• Undertaking tax due diligence assignments and transactional work
• Researching and drafting advice on complex technical matters
• Liaising with the ATO regarding client matters
• Review of income tax returns and work papers
• Preparation and review of tax effect accounting calculations
• Helping to mentor and develop technical skills of graduates and junior staff
