Job summary

BDO in Australia is seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant to join its Corporate Tax team. You will perform tax advisory and tax compliance work for a varied client base, from medium-sized businesses to household multinational brands, and collaborate with Partners and senior managers on key matters.

The role requires about 2+ years of Australian tax experience, a degree in Commerce, Accounting or Law (Tax), and strong research, writing, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Australian tax experience in Big 4/mid-tier accounting firm or law firm, or other corporate background.
• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting or Law (Taxation).
• Strong research, writing and analytical skills with an interest to develop these further.
• Collaborative, innovative and inclusive working style.
• Be open to new ways of thinking, a new approach and not afraid to challenge the status quo.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A passion for tax!

Responsibilities

• Perform tax advisory and tax compliance work; and
