Job summary

Domain is a leading property technology and services marketplace that hosts the Domain, Allhomes and CRE platforms. In 2025, Domain became part of CoStar Group, a global leader in commercial real estate information, analytics, online marketplaces and 3D digital twin technology.

Senior Engineer (Core Web) will drive high-quality frontend development, mentor engineers, and ensure scalable, performant web applications that meet an evolving technology strategy for Domain's Sydney team.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience with modern frontend tech: React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Next.js.
Experience building scalable web apps using Micro Frontends, SPA, SSR.
Experience with GraphQL, AWS, Docker, CI/CD.
Proficient in Agile environments and collaborating with Product/Design/Engineering.
OWASP security practices preferred.

Responsibilities

Build scalable, high-quality frontend solutions using modern engineering practices.
Demonstrate expertise in web performance and Core Web Vitals optimization.
Address technical debt and improve system performance and reliability.
Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with Product Managers and Designers.
Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to ensure uptime.
