Job summary

Square Global Creative in Australia is seeking a senior copywriter to join on a full-time basis. You will partner with art directors, designers, and stakeholders to express the brand voice and drive action across campaigns.

The role covers all touchpoints, from concepting ideas to asset rollout and long-form writing, with remote work available for Australia-based candidates. Collaboration with US West Coast teammates and East Coast Australia partners is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in advertising agency or in-house settings.
• Expert copywriting and concepting skills.
• Experience working remotely and autonomously to meet deadlines.
• Ability to present work clearly and sell ideas to stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Figma, and AI tools.
• Portfolio with campaign concepts, short/long-form writing, and AI tool adoption.

Responsibilities

• Understand brand voice and translate it into compelling creative.
• Develop and refine new ideas in response to briefs.
• Roll out ideas across advertising, social, and content channels.
• Use AI and other technologies to develop and refine creative work.
• Iterate and communicate ideas across mood boards to presentations.
• Write and ideate on short and long-form copy for top/mid/low-funnel assets.
• Collaborate with creatives and producers on video, photo, digital, and print production.
• Drive multiple projects and serve as go-to copywriter for tasks.
• Stay current with industry trends in Australia.
• Partner with stakeholders to shape creative strategy and roadmaps.
• Approach work with transparency and collaboration.
