Central Desert Regional Council in Yuelamu, NT is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Council Services Delivery to supervise field maintenance, contract and municipal services in line with strategic plans. You will liaise with community, contractors, staff and stakeholders to deliver programs, manage local authority projects and uphold policies.

The role is a fixed-term, full-time arrangement with relocation to Yuelamu.

Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) is a local government authority covering an area over 282,000 Sq. kilometres.CDRC builds sustainable communities through traditional local government services such as waste management, road repair and upgrades, and community services (Community Safety, Children’s Services; Youth, Sport and Recreation, Aged Care) in 12 communities to the North of Alice Springs: Lajamanu, Ti Tree, Wilora, Nturiya, Pmara Jutunta, Willowra, Laramba, Nyirripi, Yuelamu, Atitjere, Engawala and Yuendumu. The Central Desert area is considered remote and disadvantaged and over 80% of the population is Aboriginal.

The Senior Coordinator, Council Services Delivery is responsible for providing quality field maintenance, contract and municipal services and local authority projects in accordance with Central Desert Regional Council strategic and regional plans, policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
