The role focuses on supervising and administering program services across communities, liaising with residents, contractors, staff and management to deliver Council services and projects in line with strategic plans. Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) is a local government authority covering an area over 282,000 Sq. kilometres.CDRC builds sustainable communities through traditional local government services such as waste management, road repair and upgrades, and community services (Community Safety, Children’s Services; Youth, Sport and Recreation, Aged Care) in 12 communities to the North of Alice Springs: Lajamanu, Ti Tree, Wilora, Nturiya, Pmara Jutunta, Willowra, Laramba, Nyirripi, Yuelamu, Atitjere, Engawala and Yuendumu. The Central Desert area is considered remote and disadvantaged and over 80% of the population is Aboriginal.

The Role

The Senior Coordinator, Council Services Delivery is responsible for providing quality field maintenance, contract and municipal services and local authority projects in accordance with Central Desert Regional Council strategic and regional plans, policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
