Beyond Electrical Engineering (BEE) in Sydney seeks a senior Control Systems Technician stepping into Team Lead. You’ll lead the local service team, work hands-on with control systems, and collaborate with customers under the National Service Manager.

Qualifications

• License to perform electrical work in Australia (Electrical Mechanic).
• Strong IT and networking skills with Windows familiarity.
• Proven control systems experience in industrial settings.
• Experience with onsite maintenance, commissioning and fault finding.
• PLC/SCADA programming and system support capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the growth of the Sydney service presence and develop a high-performing local team.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers and pursue new opportunities.
• Visit sites to gather info, define scopes, and support quotations.
• Install, maintain, and repair control system equipment.
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot, and optimize plant performance.
• Program/configure control systems to meet project needs.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support and produce service reports.
• Ensure safety and budget/time constraints are met; mentor new staff.
• Support on-call duties and overtime where applicable.
