Job summary

Harmony’s CSA Mine in New South Wales seeks a Senior Contracts Advisor to lead sourcing, negotiation and execution of high‑value contracts across maintenance, mining, civil works, logistics and equipment. You will shape terms, draft conditions and secure value-for-money outcomes within budget.

Qualifications

• Senior commercial professional with autonomous and collaborative working style.
• Experience leading negotiation and drafting of complex, high‑value contracts end‑to‑end.
• Knowledge of contract law principles and risk allocation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end contract formation across multiple domains ensuring commercial soundness and risk balance.
• Negotiate terms including price, indemnities, liability, insurance, warranties, service levels and termination.
• Draft and settle contract documentation with legal input as needed.
• Own high‑value, high‑risk contracts including design‑and‑construct and multi‑year service agreements.
• Set contracting standards by developing templates and playbooks for consistent site practice.
• Lead Tender Evaluation teams and present Recommendations to Award for major sourcing events.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor Contract Advisors and Coordinators.
• Support contract owners to manage scopes of work, variations and performance issues.
• Engage senior stakeholders and represent commercial position with confidence across teams.
• Act as commercial conduit between site teams and Harmony Procurement and Supply Chain.
