Harmony Australasia is seeking a Contracts Officer to mitigate commercial and contractual risk through effective contract management across maintenance, mining, civil works, and logistics at CSA Mine in NSW. You will work with site-based owners, contractors, and the Procurement and Supply Chain teams to ensure contracts are compliant, delivering value.

The role is based in Brisbane with a Monday–Friday, 40-hour week and an option to work from home 2 days per week; some travel to CSA Mine will be

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, law, or commerce (or equivalent relevant experience).
• Solid experience in contract management.
• Knowledge of Pronto (or a similar ERP) and Excel.
• Excellent stakeholder-engagement and negotiation skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
• Experience in underground and/or copper mining (desirable).
• NSW Australian heavy-industry or resources-sector experience (desirable).

Responsabilités

• Implement contract management systems for site-based contracts to ensure service delivery in accordance with contract and standards.
• Provide guidance and support to contract coordinators.
• Assist site-based contract owners to prepare Scopes of Work and assess supplier capability for sourcing processes.
• Manage progress-claim review, approval, dispute resolution, and cost control with KPI reporting.
• Ensure CSA Mine personnel service delivery complies with contract obligations.
• Draft and manage approval process for contractual correspondence.
• Assist Tender Evaluation teams and prepare Recommendations to Award.
• Engage with end-users, Purchasing, Logistics, and Inventory to maintain relationships.
• Act as a conduit between site teams and Harmony Procurement and Supply Chain teams.
