Job summary

Hindmarsh, Adelaide's leading builder and developer, is hiring a Senior Contracts Administrator to drive procurement, contract administration and project financials across major projects. You will lead tendering, subcontractor engagement, and trade package management, while ensuring contractual compliance and risk management throughout procurement to completion.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in commercial construction, strong negotiation and stakeholder skills, and experience with CHEOPS and

Qualifications

• 6+ years' commercial construction experience, ideally with a head contractor.
• Experience managing procurement, contract administration and project financials.
• Strong understanding of contract law principles and construction-related legislation.
• Experience managing variations, claims and subcontractor relationships.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using CHEOPS, Aconex and similar construction software.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities including tendering, subcontractor engagement and trade package management.
• Manage head contract and subcontract administration throughout project delivery.
• Monitor project financial performance, forecasting, cashflow and cost reporting.
• Assess, price and administer variations and claims.
• Prepare progress claims and support extension of time processes.
• Manage commercial risk and ensure contractual compliance.
• Provide commercial guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
• Mentor Contract Administrators, Cadets and emerging commercial professionals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
