Job summary

The Department of Education Western Australia (WA) is seeking an experienced Commercial Procurement professional to join the Commercial Procurement Services team in Perth. The role focuses on preparing procurement plans, tender documents and evaluation for contracts valued at $50,000+ and negotiating terms with stakeholders, including Treasury and Housing and Works.

You will develop moderately complex and high-risk contracts, support continuous improvement of procurement forms and guidance, and

Qualifications

• Experience developing procurement plans and tender documents for contracts $50,000+.
• Knowledge of WA Procurement Rules and tender evaluation processes.
• Ability to provide proactive procurement advice and stakeholder liaison.

Responsibilities

• Develop moderately complex and high-risk contracts for the Department and schools.
• Prepare procurement planning, tender documents, and evaluation reports.
• Engage with stakeholders including Treasury, Finance, Housing and Works during negotiations.
• Contribute to the development and review of contract forms, guides, and communications.
• Provide timely advice and support to stakeholders and maintain focus on customer service.
