Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Contracts and Procurement professional to administer head contracts and subcontracts across construction and engineering packages, while leading commercial interfaces between delivery, engineering and project controls. You will coordinate tenders, manage variations and track supplier performance, with exposure to client requests and risk management.

Base in Australia with regional responsibilities.

Project Information

Help deliver a new 500 kV double-circuit transmission line project that will connect more than 3,000 MW of new renewable generation to the grid and power up to one million homes. The scope spans earthworks and access tracks, tower foundations, steel supply and erection, logistics and regional camp accommodation.

About the Opportunity

Report to the Manager, Contracts and Procurement and act as the key commercial interface between procurement, construction, engineering and project controls. You will administer the head contract and subcontracts, coordinate tenders, awards and purchase orders, and manage variations, claims and registers. Track commitments, supplier performance and cost against budget, and flag commercial risks early. Support junior team members and improve how contracts and procurement run, with exposure to subcontractors, suppliers and client requests.

Key accountabilities for the position will be:

Contracts and procurement experience on complex infrastructure Experience managing subcontracts, packages and suppliers Sound knowledge of contracting models and risk allocation Ability to interpret and administer contract terms and conditions Strong written communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Location and conditions

This is a regional role and includes the provision to be based at camp as required.
