Job summary

PCA Ground Engineering on the Gold Coast is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to own contract administration across our active project portfolio. You’ll drive notices, claims and reporting, and keep our contract register airtight with PMs and client counterparts.

You’ll manage complex delivery-phase disputes with autonomy, working across QLD and NSW jurisdictions and collaborating with legal input on high-risk terms. Based at our head office with occasional site travel.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in construction management, quantity surveying, law or related field.
• 5+ years in contracts administration in construction or civil engineering.
• Experience administering payment claims and schedules under BIFA and/or SOPA.
• Strong knowledge of AS4000, AS2124 and standard construction contracts.
• Sharp organisational skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
• Experience negotiating and executing subcontracts with legal input on high‑risk terms.
• Exposure across QLD and NSW jurisdictions.

We're looking for a Senior Contracts Administrator to take ownership of contract administration across our full active project portfolio, from handover through to close-out. You'll hold Project Managers accountable for notices, claims and reporting obligations, keep our payment claims and schedules airtight under BIFA and SOPA, and make sure nothing slips through the cracks on our contract register.

This role carries real autonomy and real exposure, including day-to-day support on complex, delivery-phase disputes. You'll need to be comfortable holding your ground with Project Managers, subcontractors and client counterparts alike.

Some of the must-haves:

Degree or diploma in construction management, quantity surveying, law or a related field (equivalent industry experience considered)

5+ years in contracts administration in construction, civil engineering or a related industry, including complex or contested contracts during delivery

Demonstrated experience administering payment claims and schedules under BIFA and/or SOPA

Strong working knowledge of AS4000, AS2124 and standard construction contract frameworks

Sharp organisational skills and a track record of never missing a statutory deadline

Experience negotiating and executing subcontracts, including with legal counsel input on higher-risk terms

Exposure across both QLD and NSW jurisdictions
