Job summary

Pensar is inviting applications for a Senior Contract Administrator to lead commercial outcomes on major infrastructure projects based in Brisbane. You will drive contract administration, manage risk and support delivery through collaboration with project teams and clients.

We seek a commercially astute professional with proven experience in infrastructure or construction contracts, able to navigate complex environments and lead on variations and claims.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in contract administration, commercial management or a similar role within the infrastructure, engineering or construction sectors.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience working on multidisciplinary infrastructure or construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Project Managers and delivery teams to provide strategic commercial guidance across a diverse portfolio of projects.
• Take ownership of contract administration activities from project award through to completion and close-out.
• Support management of contractual risk by identifying opportunities, addressing challenges early and implementing practical solutions.
• Lead the preparation and assessment of contract variations, claims and entitlement submissions.
• Work closely with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to build productive relationships and achieve positive outcomes.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting activities to support informed business decisions.
• Assist in resolving commercial issues and contractual disputes in a timely and professional manner.
• Coach and support developing commercial professionals, helping build capability across the wider project team.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and commercial governance across the business.

Are you an experienced Senior Contract Administrator looking to take the lead on complex infrastructure projects?

What you'll bring:

• A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Law, Commerce, Business or related field (desirable).
• Significant experience in contract administration, commercial management or a similar role within the infrastructure, engineering or construction sectors.
• A strong understanding of complex contracting environments and commercial project delivery.
• Experience working on multidisciplinary infrastructure or construction projects.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
