Fulton Hogan is recruiting a Senior Contracts Administrator, permanent, for its Utilities business in South Australia, with the post listed at Dulwich. The administrator is the main point of contact between Fulton Hogan and its clients and subcontractors on every contractual and financial administration matter for the projects assigned. Progress claims, variations and final accounts are prepared or supported through to submission on time.
Contract and financial records are kept up to date, including project diaries, cost tracking and the papers that support them. Costs are monitored against budget, and the role prepares monthly financial reports and cash flow forecasts, carries out close-out audits and attends project meetings.
Subcontractor and supplier payments, insurances and security compliance are also administered, and the administrator takes part in risk reviews and keeps the site records required by statute and by company procedure. Fulton Hogan wants demonstrated experience of procurement and contract formation from start to finish in construction or utilities, with sound commercial and financial judgement.
It asks specifically for experience of contractual notifications and of preparing and negotiating claims. A formal qualification in contract management is desirable, strong Excel and Word skills are expected, and JD Edwards experience would help but is not required. The advert describes the salary as competitive without giving a figure.
