Job summary

MLG Oz is a Perth-based contractor delivering civil and mining services across WA. We seek an experienced Contracts Administrator to elevate commercial performance on active projects, working with project managers and leaders to drive cost control and risk management.

The role offers exposure to a diverse WA portfolio, with opportunities for leadership and progression within a growing ASX-listed business. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Contract Administration or Commercial Management.
• Background within civil construction, mining or related infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience managing variations, claims and contract correspondence.
• Strong understanding of Australian construction and mining contracts.
• Experience partnering closely with Project Managers in live project environments.
• Commercial acumen with strong cost analysis and risk management capability.
• Excellent written communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Relevant qualification in Commerce, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or similar highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract administration across multiple civil and mining projects.
• Review contract terms and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
• Prepare, negotiate and administer variations and claims.
• Manage contract correspondence, notices and formal communications.
• Support Project Managers with commercial reporting, forecasting and cost control.
• Prepare and submit monthly progress claims.
• Maintain contract compliance registers and contractual records.
• Monitor project KPIs and report on commercial performance.
• Work with finance, legal and operational teams to resolve commercial matters.
• Support subcontract administration and procurement activities.
