Sydney Water is hiring two Senior Contract Administrators to support its extensive infrastructure program. This permanent role offers a generous salary package plus benefits and sits within the Program Delivery Team.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• MRICs or equivalent qualification is required.
• 5+ years’ contract and commercial management experience in construction and infrastructure.
• Experience with Tier 1/2 contractors and client-side roles preferred.
• Background in water infrastructure or large-scale projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the administration of major design and engineering consultancy contracts within InfrastructureDelivery frameworks.
• Provide commercial and contractual advice to project teams and key stakeholders.
• Lead the assessment and negotiation of contract variations, claims, and commercial disputes.
• Monitor contractor performance, compliance, and contract obligations to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks across projects.
• Prepare commercial reports, recommendations, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and internal project teams to achieve objectives.
• Support procurement, tender evaluation, and contract award processes.
