Job summary

Infinity Constructions is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator in Sydney to report to the Project Manager and collaborate with the project team and partners on a large commercial build.

You will manage end-to-end procurement, contract administration, and compliance for projects up to $50 million+, lead CA resources, oversee risk, and drive safety, environment and quality standards. Infinity Constructions offers a stable permanent role and opportunities to work with industry professionals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of proven track record for head contractor.
• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, QS or equivalent.
• Strong contract administration knowledge for commercial projects up to $50M+.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement, including tender prep, evaluation and contract awarding.
• Oversee contract administration using construction software.
• Ensure compliance with head contract obligations, including progress claims and variations.
• Lead and support CA team resources, including performance management and leave approvals.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while resolving contractual issues with consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate project close-out, including financial wrap-up, handover docs and defect resolution.
• Administer authority, utility and DA requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Champion safety, environmental and quality culture in line with policies and legislation.

An exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Contract Administrator who is ready to take the next step in their career on a large commercial project for a $200 million Commercial Build in Sydney's west on a project.

What are we looking for?

Infinity is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator in Sydney where you will report to the Project Manager and work collaboratively with the project team and other associated partners.

The role, but not limited to

• Manage end-to-end procurement, including tender preparation, evaluation, and contract awarding in line with compliance requirements.
• Oversee contract administration using construction based software.
• Ensure full compliance with head contract obligations, including progress claims, forecasting, variations, and reporting.
• Lead and support CA team resources, including performance management, leave approvals, and goal setting.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while resolving contractual issues with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Coordinate project close-out, including financial wrap-up, handover documentation, and defect resolution.
• Administer authority, utility, and DA requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Champion a strong safety, environmental, and quality culture in line with company policies and legislative requirements.

A successful candidate will have, but is not limited to:

• Minimum of 6+ years of proven track record experience working for a head contractor.
• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with partners and key stakeholders.
• Contract Administration and technical construction knowledge on commercial projects of up to $50million+
• Excellent understanding of industry practices, processes, and standards and law.
• Proficient in Cheops is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills, written and verbal.
