Job summary

Excolo. seeks two experienced IntelliMatch consultants to drive a large reconciliation program for financial services in Sydney.

You will scope needs with stakeholders, design reconciliations across cash, nostro, securities, positions, trades and GL, and lead the build in collaboration with the business and technical teams. You will own end-to-end delivery from requirements through to go-live, mentor colleagues, and explore automation to cut break volumes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IntelliMatch experience across the modules listed, with end-to-end reconciliation design/build.
• Experience working with clients or business stakeholders in a consulting or BA capacity from requirements through to delivery

Responsibilities

• Run requirements sessions with operations, finance and technology stakeholders to design reconciliation rules.
• Define scope, document the solution and secure sign-off before the build.
• Build and configure reconciliations across cash, nostro, securities, positions, trades and GL.
• Write and tune SQL to extract, transform and load source data.
• Run SIT, UAT, regression and production validation testing; support go-live.
• Investigate data and matching breaks; support reconciliations in production.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual matching and reduce break volume.
• Mentor other team members on IntelliMatch as needed

Job description

We’re looking for two experienced IntelliMatch consultants to work across a large reconciliation program within financial services.

The platform’s already in place. The job now is working out what the business needs reconciled, scoping it properly and building it. You’ll be the person in the room with the stakeholders and the person doing the build, so you need to be comfortable on both sides.

What you’ll be doing

• Running requirements sessions with operations, finance and technology stakeholders, then turning what they need into reconciliation designs and matching rules
• Defining scope, documenting the solution and getting sign off before the build starts
• Building and configuring reconciliations across cash, nostro, securities, positions, trades and general ledger
• Writing and tuning SQL to extract, transform and load source data from upstream systems
• Running SIT, UAT, regression and production validation testing, and supporting go-live
• Investigating breaks, fixing data and matching issues, and supporting the reconciliations in production
• Looking for chances to automate manual matching and cut down the break volume
• Mentoring other team members on IntelliMatch where needed

The IntelliMatch modules you’ll be working across

• Recollector, for loading and transforming data feeds into the platform
• Administrator, for setting up reconciliations, data sets and matching rules
• Reconciliation Manager, for break management, investigation workflow and exception handling
• Scheduler, for automating load and match jobs
• Security Administration, for user access and permissions

What you’ll need

• Hands-‑on IntelliMatch experience across the modules above, having designed and built reconciliations end to end
• Experience working directly with clients or business stakeholders in a consulting or BA capacity, from requirements through to delivery

Nice to have

• Experience with other reconciliation platforms like SmartStream TLM or Duco
• Background in a bank, custodian, asset manager or fund administrator
• Experience on a reconciliation migration or transformation program
