Job summary

BDO Australia is seeking a Senior Consultant or Assistant Manager for its Project & Infrastructure Advisory team. The role can be based in Brisbane, Cairns or Darwin and focuses on region shaping engagements across government and private sector clients.

You will support business cases, feasibility studies and project delivery, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams while contributing to client relationships and proposal work.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in finance, law, commerce, engineering or economics.
• Experience in consulting or related role; government processes beneficial.
• Experience or interest in business case development, feasibility studies, PM or economic analysis.
• Ability to contribute within multi-disciplinary teams on complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage your own work.
• Demonstrated stakeholder engagement experience across internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of project and infrastructure advisory engagements and project management services.
• Assisting in the coordination of engagements, including contributing to project plans, budgets, schedules, risk management and progress reporting.
• Working with senior team members on client engagements, preparing analysis, reports and deliverables.
• Contributing to business development activities, including research, proposal support and maintaining client relationships.
• Supporting the preparation of proposals and tender submissions.
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients, stakeholders and internal teams.
• Contributing to a collaborative team environment and supporting the development of junior team members where appropriate.
• Undertaking a range of project delivery activities to support the successful execution of engagements.
