Job summary

Findex is looking for a Senior Consultant to join their Advisory & Consulting team in Sydney. The successful candidate will prepare complex financial statements, advise clients on business structures, and work on advisory projects. Applicants should have a degree in Commerce or Business with a major in Accounting and relevant experience in professional practice.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Commerce or Business with a major in Accounting.
• Working towards completion of CA qualification.
• Experience in a mid-tier professional practice or equivalent business environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of complex financial statements and income tax returns.
• Provide advice on business structures, asset protection, and estate planning.
• Deliver solutions with V-CFO offering, developing business plans and financial models.

Are you looking to further your career as a Senior Accountant?

We have an exciting full-time or part-time (4-days per week), permanent opportunity to join our Advisory & Consulting team in Sydney CBD.

You will have the opportunity to work within a talented, committed, and high performing team and work on interesting, hands-on projects with both established and emerging clients.

What will your typical week look like?

• Preparation of complex financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, SMEs and large multinational groups
• Assist in providing advice to clients on optimal business structures, asset protection and estate planning strategies
• Work on advisory projects in the areas of budgets and cashflows, KPI dashboards and management reporting
• Assist in delivering cutting-edge solutions with our V-CFO offering, developing business and succession plans, financial models, benchmarking and pricing analyses
• Utilise your strong Excel skills and practical experience with cloud accounting products (e.g., XERO, QBO and MYOB)
