1Recruit International is seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer for our client on the Gold Coast. You will oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget control, and high-quality outcomes.

Role requires a civil engineering degree and a minimum of 5 years in project management within the construction industry, with strong coordination across architects, engineers, and contractors. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage construction projects from start to finish.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timelines are met.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control and safety standards are being met.
• Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management and clients.
• Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
• Manage project budgets and ensure costs are kept within approved limits.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal team members.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure projects are utilizing the latest technologies and techniques.
