Job summary

Austcorp Executive seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead government and Design & Construct construction programs from Brisbane. Based in the southern suburbs, you will own delivery across planning, contract, program, risk and commercial outcomes, taking genuine ownership rather than delegating everything.

You will mentor coordinators, build robust schedules, manage budgets, notices and variations, and ensure WHS and quality compliance while engaging clients and stakeholders to deliver

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of project management experience in construction.
• Background with Tier 2 or Tier 3 builders is mandatory.
• Experience delivering Queensland Government projects.
• Proven ability to develop and actively manage construction programs.
• Strong understanding of EOTs, variations and contractual risk.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for projects from planning through to handover.
• Develop, maintain and actively manage detailed construction programs.
• Monitor milestones, resources and critical activities to hit delivery targets.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, cash flow and overall financial performance.
• Administer head contracts and issue contractual notices in time.
• Mentor and develop Project Coordinators and junior staff.
• Chair client, consultant and project meetings and manage stakeholders.
• Ensure WHS, quality and regulatory compliance on all projects.
