1Recruit International in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial delivery of multiple mid to high-rise residential projects. You will manage contracts, procurement and cost forecasting across delivery from pre-construction to handover.

Reporting to Project Director, you will mentor Contracts Administrators, drive budget performance, manage client and stakeholder expectations and ensure robust commercial governance for a secure pipeline of more than 1,000

Qualifikationen

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commercial Management or a related discipline.
• 10+ years' experience in commercial management or senior contract administration.
• Experience with AIQS, RICS or CIOB is advantageous.
• Experience delivering commercial outcomes on mid to high-rise residential, commercial or mixed-use developments.
• Strong procurement, subcontract administration, cost control, forecasting, variations and reporting.
• Ability to lead commercial teams and mentor Contract Administrators.
• Strong understanding of Australian Standard contracts and commercial risk management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Collaborative with project delivery teams to achieve objectives.

A major project delivery partner with a secured pipeline of landmark residential developments is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial delivery of multiple mid to high-rise residential projects across Brisbane. This newly created leadership position has been established to support a strong forward workload of more than 1,000 apartments over the next four years and offers the opportunity to become a key member of the senior project leadership team. This is a delivery-focused role responsible for leading the commercial function and contract administration from project commencement through to practical completion while supporting a seamless transition from pre-construction into delivery.

The Role:

Reporting to the Project Director, you will lead the commercial and contract management of projects throughout construction, ensuring strong financial performance, effective contract administration and proactive commercial risk management. Key responsibilities include:

What We're Looking For:

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commercial Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in commercial management or senior contract administration within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 construction contractor.
• Experience with professional organisations such as AIQS, RICS or CIOB will be well regarded but is not essential.
• Strong experience delivering commercial outcomes across mid to high-rise residential, commercial or mixed-use developments.
• Demonstrated experience managing procurement, subcontract administration, cost control, forecasting, variations and commercial reporting.
• Proven ability to lead commercial teams and mentor Contract Administrators.
• Strong understanding of Australian Standard contracts and commercial risk management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project delivery teams to achieve programme, commercial and client objectives.
