Job summary

Crawford is seeking a motivated professional to specialise in Construction & Engineering loss adjusting. No prior loss adjusting experience is required, with comprehensive training, mentoring and ongoing support from experienced specialists as you manage increasingly complex commercial claims.

You will investigate claims from assessment to settlement, review policy language, prepare recommendations, and liaise with policyholders, brokers and experts while building a long-term specialist career

Qualifications

• Property, construction, engineering or insurance claims experience required.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical thinking and sound decision-making ability.
• Strong organisation and time management skills.
• A desire to build a long-term career in specialist loss adjusting.
• Current Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Review policies, contracts and claim documentation to determine coverage.
• Prepare reports and claim recommendations for insurers and stakeholders.
• Liaise with policyholders, brokers, contractors and technical experts.

• Assist with client meetings and business development activities as experience grows.
