Job summary

Icon is seeking an experienced Construction Design Manager to lead design activities across multiple projects. You will work closely with project managers, architects, engineers and contractors to ensure timely, cost-efficient delivery in line with project specifications and regulatory standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 7+ years of design management experience with head contractors on large-scale projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management or engineering.
7+ years of design management experience in construction.
Experience with head contractor projects and large-scale developments.

Responsibilities

Manage design activities across multiple projects ensuring compliance with specs and regulations.
Collaborate with PMs, architects, engineers and contractors for timely delivery.
Develop and maintain design schedules and budgets; report progress to senior management.
Review project specifications and contracts; identify design requirements and constraints.
Ensure up-to-date design records and manage the design process from development to approval.
