Job summary

Rabobank Australia seeks a Manager Compliance Advisory to provide practical, commercially focused compliance guidance across a broad regulatory portfolio and to partner with stakeholders throughout Rabobank.

The role leads advisory on areas including anti-corruption, Treating Customers Fairly, conduct and advice, market abuse, conflicts of interest, privacy and record keeping, delivering training, policy input, and Board reporting to strengthen Rabobank’s culture of compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in banking and financial services.
• Proven compliance risk management or advisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Australian and New Zealand regulatory environment.
• Relevant tertiary or industry qualification.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Sound commercial judgement and the ability to turn complex requirements into practical advice.
• Collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Providing compliance advice across BAU activities, escalations, initiatives and projects.
• Partnering with the business to embed regulatory requirements and effective controls.
• Supporting compliance breach and incident management.

• Delivering technical training and guidance.
