Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong experience in community and stakeholder engagement for infrastructure or major projects.
• IAP2 training or equivalent qualification in community engagement and public participation.
• Qualifications in communications, journalism, engagement or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-level community and stakeholder engagement strategies for major infrastructure projects.
• Provide strategic advice on stakeholder risks, emerging issues and engagement opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with community groups, government agencies and other stakeholders.
• Identify and manage stakeholder issues that may impact project delivery.
• Prepare briefing notes, reports, submissions and consultation materials.
• Monitor media and stakeholder issues and identify opportunities for proactive communications.
• Ensure engagement materials meet corporate and government standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to support effective communications and engagement outcomes.
