Job summary

u&u Recruitment Partners on the Gold Coast is recruiting a Principal Communications Advisor to lead community and stakeholder engagement for major transport infrastructure projects. You will provide strategic advice, manage complex communications, and coordinate with government, industry and community partners.

Bring strong engagement experience, IAP2 qualifications and a track record in public sector or infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Strong community and stakeholder engagement experience.
• IAP2 or equivalent qualification required.
• Qualifications in communications, journalism or related discipline preferred.
• Experience in government or major projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engagement strategies for major infrastructure projects.
• Provide strategic advice on stakeholder risks and issues.
• Build relationships with government, industry and communities.
• Prepare briefing notes, reports and consultation materials.
• Monitor media and stakeholder issues to identify opportunities.
• Ensure materials meet corporate and government standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to support communication outcomes.
